A whole plant extract that has been winterized to take out the excess plant matter and waxes. What remains is a concentrated paste with the other cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids still in it.

Why a paste

• At 50%, a small amount does the work of a much larger volume of oil.
• The other cannabinoids are preserved, which is what separates it from an isolate.
• It is the usual starting point for making your own oils and edibles.
• It carries the terpenes and flavonoids of the plant it came from.

• 500 mg of extract per millilitre, 450 mg of it CBD

• Dark red to brown, thick and very sticky

Working with it

You can take it under the tongue, but it is thick enough to need warming before it will come out of the syringe. Most people melt it into a carrier oil for daily use, or stir it into a recipe.
